listed on National Stock Exchange (NSE) and trading commenced
from 25th August 2003.

The Company has signed a long term
Power Purchase Agreement with Torrent Power Generation
Limited, a Special Purpose Vehicle promoted by your Company
along with The Ahmedabad Electricity Company Limited and
Torrent Private Limited for setting up 1000 - 1147.5 MW
gas based Combined Cycle Power Project to purchase 50%
of its capacity and energy generated therefrom on a dedicated
basis. |
