National Consumer Helpline (1800-11-4000) has been established by Ministry of Consumer Affairs in collaboration with Delhi University and Consumer Online Research Resource and Empowerment (CORE) with financial assistance from Consumer Welfare Fund., for redressal of consumer grievances . The project provides for a toll free telephone no. (1800-11-4000) where a citizen can call to seek information, advice or guidance for dealing with his day-to-day consumer problems related to power.
