The Sabarmati Plant was adjudged as one of the best plants in the country by the Ministry of Power in May 2004.
During the FY 04-05 the Sabarmati thermal power plants generated 3037 MUs as compared to 2945 MUs in the previous year.

The generation at Sabarmati TPS was higher compared to previous year one of the reasons being upgradation of D station from 110 MW to 120 MW.

The Plant Availability Factor was 92.32 % compared to 87.67%
in ’03-‘04

The Plant Load factor was 86.69 % compared to 85.98% in ’03-‘04
|

The auxiliary consumption was 7.92% compared to 9.14% in ’03-‘04
